OK, fair warning. What we have here is a bunch of really crappy
photos of some great works of art. I came within an inch of just
leaving these photos out, but that seems like cheating. Just be
aware that the art has a lot more effect in person, and I highly
recommend both the Hermitage and the Russian Museum, even if you're an
ignorant savage like me. |

The Hermitage had some of the nicest wood floors I've ever seen.
I used to do woodwork a bit in youth, but my stuff was a pale shadow of
the real thing. |

This one was wonderfully bizarre. It had some kind of religious
theme but I can't quite remember what it was. There were actually
quite a few with religious themes that were exceptionally violent.
I like that, as it's at least somewhat honest. |
